Xi Jinping meets with former KMT chairman Lien Chan

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on Tuesday met with Lien Chan, former chairman of the Kuomintang (KMT), Taiwan's ruling party, and others from the island.
They are here to attend the upcoming celebrations in Beijing to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Endit
