China Southern Airlines to launch its first freighter service to Vietnam

China Southern Airlines will launch a freighter service linking Guangzhou-Ho Chi Minh City- Hanoi-Guangzhou on September 24, the Chinese carrier's representative told reporters here Monday.

China Southern Airlines will run four flights a week, on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, using Boeing-747s.

Flights will depart from Guangzhou at 00:10, arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 01:45, then depart from the city at 04:15, and arrive in Hanoi at 06:15, depart from the capital city at 08:45 and arrive in the Chinese city at 11:10.

A flight's maximum payload is 100 tons, and most of the freights are shoes, clothes, fruits and vegetables, said the representative.

This is the first freighter flight to be launched in Vietnam by China Southern Airlines. Endi
