Afghanistan arrests 30 in connection with recent deadly attacks in capital

The National Directorate for Security (NDS), or Afghanistan's intelligence agency, has captured 30 militants and Haqqani network activists during special operations, a statement of the entity released here Monday said.

According to the statement, the "arrested terrorists were involved in recent deadly attacks in Kabul" which had claimed scores of lives, mostly civilians.

At least four suicide car bombs rocked the national capital Kabul city over the past one month which claimed the lives of more than four dozen civilians and injured scores others, according to media reports and officials. Endi
