Slovakia's Toth wins men's 50km walk gold

Slovakia's Matej Toth led all the way to win the gruelling 50km race walk at the world athletics championships here on Saturday.

Toth took the lead one kilometer into the race and never looked back, winning the title in three hours, 40 minutes and 32 seconds.

Australian veteran Jared Tallent took silver in 3:42:16 and Japanese Takayuki Tanii won bronze in 3:42.55. Endi
