Xinhua, August 29, 2015 Adjust font size:

Sarajevo will soon reconstruct its oldest square in the center of the old town, local media reported on Friday.

The Bascarsija Square, in the heart of the old town and a popular tourist location, will be reconstructed beginning September 2, reported Fena, the Federal News Agency.

The project will cost some 610,000 euros, it reported, adding it will be partly financed by Turkey.

Water supply line, sewage network and other installations will be replaced in the reconstruction. The facilities for electricity, gas, and telecommunication will also be renovated. Endit
