Tokyo shares jump 2.77 pct by break

Tokyo stocks ended the morning session rose sharply Friday following gains in the overnight global issues markets.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average jumped 513.66 points, or 2. 77 percent, to 19,088.10.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 46.99 points, or 3.13 percent, to 1, 547.40. Endi
