The world boxing body AIBA has ruled out two Ugandan boxers from the 2015 All Africa Games to be held in Congo Brazzaville for Sept. 4-19.

Fred Kavuma, publicity secretary Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) told Xinhua on Wednesday that two of their senior boxers got concussions during the Olympic qualifying event in Morocco last week and have been asked to rest for a month.

Kavuma said the affected boxers are Willy Kyakonye (Heavy weight) and Micheal Ssekabembe (Super heavy weight).

Kavuma said they will now replace the two boxers before the team leaves on Sunday.

Besides boxing, Uganda is also expected to field athletes in badminton, athletics, tennis, basketball (women), swimming, table tennis, cycling, weightlifting and Paralympics. Endi
