Xinhua, August 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

Senior military officers from the U.S., Canada, Britain, Australia and New Zealand have just completed three days of talks on improving interoperability in the five nations' reserve forces, the New Zealand Defense Force announced Wednesday.

The annual ABCA (America, Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) Information Team Reserves Conference in Auckland from Aug. 23 to 25 included talks on best practice and exchanging experiences to support future operations, Acting Chief of Army, Brigadier Pete Kelly said.

"This is the third ABCA conference we have hosted this year, as part of our ongoing discussion and collaboration between our own armed forces and our closest allies," Kelly said in a statement.

This year's theme, Integrating Reserves into Operational Deployments, focused discussion on sustaining active reserve service on operations. Endi
