Four enterprises win WIPO-IPOS Intellectual Property awards during IP Week in Singapore

Xinhua, August 25, 2015 Adjust font size:

Four enterprises won intellectual property (IP) awards honored by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) at Asia's premier IP event in Singapore on Tuesday.

Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs and Law K Shanmugam presented the awards to the recipients, alongside Francis Gurry, director-general of WIPO during the IP Week.

In its third year, WIPO-IPOS IP Awards recognizes and celebrates Singapore's IP-intensive enterprises that have achieved excellence in innovation and creativity. They seek to engender more IP-driven business organizations in Singapore as the nation progresses towards greater value-creation.

The recipients of the IP awards were rigorously evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, including industry experts, trade association leaders and members of academia.

The IP event also features the 5th Global Forum on Intellectual Property, the anchor conference of IP Week, as well as the IP Fiesta, an IP fair which is open to the public and includes exciting activities, exhibitions and talks in celebration of intellectual property. Endi
