Ireland's annual manufacturing prices up 6.8 pct in July

Ireland's manufacturing prices rose 6.8 percent in July when compared to the same month of last year, according to official figures on Monday.
The figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) showed that computer, electronic and optical products had the biggest increase on last year, up 17.9 percent.
The CSO figures also showed pharmaceutical products rose by 10.1 percent.
Food products, including bread and confectionary, soared 8.5 percent, however dairy product prices tumbled 14.1 percent and fruit and vegetable prices were down 5.2 percent, according to the CSO. Endit
