Turkish movie wins best film at Sarajevo Film Festival

Turkish movie "Mustang" won the best film on Saturday at the 21st Sarajevo Film Festival (SFF).

"Mustang", directed by Deniz Gamze Erguven, received the award at the closing ceremony at the National Theater in Sarajevo.

Meanwhile, the special jury prize went to "Son of Paul" from Hungary.

The best actress went to ensemble of five actresses from "Mustang" while the best actor went to actors from the Greek film "Chevalier".

A total of 259 movies from more than 50 countries were shown at the 21th edition of SFF that ran from Aug. 14 to Aug. 22.

The SFF, founded in 1995, has become the top film festival in Southeast Europe. Endite
