One killed in small plane crashes in Czech

One person died in a crash of a small plane in north Bohemia in the Czech Republic late Friday afternoon, said regional police spokeswoman Sarka Polackova.

She added that the rescuers resuscitated the other member of the crew on the spot, close to the village of Lipno near Louny.

Pavel Sebesta, spokesman for the rescuers said that the survivor was transported to hospital by helicopter with very serious head and stomach injuries.

Polackova said they received reports about the crash of a small plane with a crew of two. She said the aircraft went on fire after it hit the ground and the cause of the accident is to be investigated. Endit
