Finnair to open 12 new scheduled flights for summer 2016

Finnish national carrier Finnair announced on Thursday that it plans to open 12 new scheduled flights for summer 2016.

The airline said that it will start flying to Billund, Denmark, from April 4, 2016, as a year-round destination.

The flights to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, will be operated from April 18 to Oct. 27.

In addition to air routes to Dubrovnik and Split, Finnair will continue to increase its Croatia service with two weekly summer flights between Helsinki and Pula, located in the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia.

In next summer, Finnair will also reorganize flights to a number of Greek islands and Italian cities.

Founded in 1923, Finnair is the flag carrier of Finland with its headquarters in Vantaa and its main hub at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Endit
