Myanmar approaches Sheffield Utd U-21 player Kler Heh

Xinhua, August 20, 2015 Adjust font size:

Myanmar Football Federation has approached Sheffield United player Kler Heh for playing for the national team, official media reported Thursday.

The 19-year old Kler Heh, a Kayin ethnic of Myanmar, wishes to represent Myanmar in football, said the Global New Light of Myanmar.

The rising star would be an asset to the national team, a former Myanmar football captain said.

Kler Heh, who can play as a defender and a winger, signed a two-year deal with Shefield United in 2013 and later a one-year extension.

He was born in a refugee camp at the Myanmar-Thai border and his family resettled in Shefield, England in 2006. Endi
