Urgent: U.S. dollar falls on Fed minutes

The U.S. dollar dropped against most major currencies on Wednesday as minutes from the Federal Reserve's July meeting showed that an interest-rate hike as soon as September is practically off the table.

In late New York trading, the euro rose to 1.1113 dollars from 1.1024 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 123.86 Japanese yen, lower than 124.39 yen of the previous session. Endit
