CONCACAF holds pre-Olympic tournament draw

The CONCACAF (North, Central American and Caribbean Football Association) Pre-Olympic Tournament draw was held Tuesday, where Mexico, regional champion, will be part of Group B, local media reported.

The draw was held in Washington, United States, on Tuesday.

According to the results, Mexico's U-22 national team will face Honduras, Haiti and the winner of the series between Guatemala and Costa Rica, to win one of the tickets for Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The Pre-Olympic Tournament will be held from Oct. 2 to 13 in several U.S. cities.

Group A includes the host country, Panama, Canada and Cuba.

The first two qualified teams of each group will play semifinals, to be held on Oct.10 in Tindro River Stadium, in Sandy, Utah.

On the other hand, the winner of the third-place game will face Colombia in order to win a ticket for Rio 2016. Endit
