Garment products accounted for 72.6 percent of the country's total exports, it added. Main markets for the products are Europe, the United States and Canada.

According to the data, the country also exported footwear products worth 313 million U.S. dollars during the first half of this year, up 70 percent from 184 million U.S. dollars over the same period last year.
