The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) announced on Sunday it intends to prosecute Israel at the International Criminal Court for killing Palestinians without trial.
The PNA Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in an emailed press statement that killing Palestinian young men in the West Bank "is a field execution in the field without trial."
It said that the foreign ministry has prepared a complete file on the Israeli killing and wounding of Palestinian young men in the field instead of arresting them, and called on the international community to protect the Palestinians.
"The field execution that the Israeli forces are practicing against the Palestinian youths is an implementation of the Israeli government's policy based on instructions of incitement," said the statement.
The PNA accused the Israeli government of "giving a green light to its security forces to facilitate the process of pressing on the triggers and to kill the Palestinians in cold blood."
On Saturday, the PNA Presidency said the Palestinians won't keep silent for the daily killing of the Palestinians in the West Bank, and held Israel responsible for "this dangerous escalation."
On Saturday, a 16-year-old teenager was killed by five Israeli army gunshots in the chest and abdomen in south of the West Bank city of Nablus after he stabbed an Israeli border police soldier at an Israeli army roadblock in the area.
Earlier during the same day, another Palestinian young man was critically wounded after Israeli soldiers shot him when he stabbed an Israeli soldier at an Israeli army roadblock near Ramallah.
The tension in West Bank between Israel and the Palestinians mounted since the Jewish arson attack on a family house near Nablus killed a toddler and his father. Endit
