Eurozone GDP up by 0.3 pct in Q2

The seasonally adjusted GDP rose by 0.3 percent in the eurozone during the second quarter of 2015 over the previous quarter, according to the flash estimates published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU) on Friday.

The seasonally adjusted GDP rose by 0.4 percent in the EU during the same period.

In the first quarter of 2015, GDP grew by 0.4 percent in both eurozone and the EU.

Moreover, compared with the same quarter of the previous year, the seasonally adjusted GDP rose by 1.2 percent in the eurozone and by 1.6 percent in the EU in the second quarter of 2015. Endit
