Tokyo shares end mixed by break

Tokyo shares ended the Thursday morning session mixed as sentiment here was still weighed by the exchange rate change of the Chinese yuan.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was up 85.74 points, or 0.42 percent, from Wednesday to 20,478.51.

However, the broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange inched down 6.22 points, or 0.37 percent, to 1,659.53. Endi
