Dollar trades in upper 124 yen range in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 124 yen range early Tuesday morning in Tokyo, almost unchanged from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 124.62-63 yen compared with 124.59-69 yen in New York and 124.50-52 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.1014-1018 dollars and 137.27-28 yen against 1.1013-1023 dollars and 137.28-38 yen in New York and 1.0959-0960 dollars and 136.44-48 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Endi
