Urgent: 4 police officers killed in landmine blast in Turkey

Four police officers were killed in a landmine blast planted by the militants of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) in Sirnak province in Turkey on Monday, private Dogan news agency reported.

Following the blast, one soldier of the Turkish security forces was also killed and another wounded as a group of the PKK rebels attacked a military helicoptere in Silopi town of Sirnak province, according to the report. Endit
