Tokyo shares end lower by break on Wall Street losses

Tokyo issues inched down by ending the morning session Monday following declines in the U.S. market before the weekend.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average edged down 12.53 points, or 0.06 percent, from Friday to 20,712.03.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 1.72 points, or 0.10 percent, at 1, 677.47. Endi
