Penarol secure loan for Argentine striker

Internacional have agreed to loan out their Argentine forward Carlos Luque to Uruguay's Penarol, the Brazilian club said on Saturday.

Penarol sporting director Juan Ahuntchain said the deal would tie Luque to the Montevideo outfit until August 2016.

The 22-year-old has represented Argentina at youth level and was linked with a move to Europe before joining Internacional from Argentina's Colon in May 2014.

But injuries and poor form have restricted him to just 16 appearances for the Port Alegre side. Endi
