Urgent: At least 12 people killed in Mali hotel siege

At least 12 people, including five soldiers and two civilians, have been killed after suspected Islamist militants on Friday attacked a hotel used by United Nations staff in central Mali, Malian officials said Saturday.

Four hostages have been freed, according to the Directorate of Information and Public Affairs of the Malian Army. Endit
