China's treasury bond futures closed higher on Friday, with the contract for settlement in September up 0.09 percent to finish at 97.14 yuan (15.88 U.S. dollars).

The contract for settlement in December gained 0.11 percent to end at 99.04 yuan. The March 2016 contract edged up 0.08 percent to 99.38 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Endi
