Dollar trades in lower 124 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 124 yen zone in early trading Wednesday, little changed from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 124.29-33 yen compared with 124.33-43 yen in New York and 123.85-87 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.0884-0885 dollars and 135.28-31 yen against 1.0876-0886 dollars and 135.25-35 yen in New York and 1.0972-0974 dollars and 135.89-93 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endi
