LME base metals mostly rise on Tuesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Tuesday.

The metals prices largely consolidated after Monday's losses.

Besides, the euro to U.S. dollar exchange rate climbed by around 0.07 percent in late trading on Tuesday. The metals gain momentum as the rising exchange rate.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 35 U.S. dollars, or 0.67 percent, to 5,228 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 11 U.S. dollars, or 0.68 percent, to 1,617 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost increased 32 U.S. dollars, or 1.89 percent, to 1,721 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 14 U.S. dollars, or 0.74 percent, to 1,915 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.46 percent, to 10,925 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.31 percent, to 16,075 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
