French stock market index up 0.75 pct on Monday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.75 percent to close at 5,120.52 points on Monday, up 37.91 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Monday with 29 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Monday were L'Oreal, up 2.49 percent, Vivendi, up 2.28 percent, and Danone, up 2.01 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped on Monday were Technip, down 1.81 percent, along with ArcelorMittal and Peugeot, both down 1.45 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.72 percent to close at 5,082.61 points, up 36.19 points. Endit
