Two related car crashes kill seven in western Georgia

Seven people were killed in two related car crashes in western Georgia on Sunday.

Two children and four adults died when the car they were traveling in collided with a minibus and then exploded, local media quoted authorities as saying.

They added that the three people on the latter vehicle survived the tragedy, which happened in Guria region in western Georgia.

Unfortunately, an ambulance transferring the wounded crashed with a police car en route to hospital, killing one and injuring three police officers, local media reported.

The crashes marked one of the deadliest traffic accidents in Georgia, and investigation has been under way. Endi
