UN chief slams deadly bomb attack in Bahrain's village

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki- moon on Wednesday condemned a bomb attack in a village in Bahrain, which reportedly killed two policemen and injured several others, calling for "a full and transparent investigation into this terrorist act."

"The secretary-general conveys his deep condolences to the government and people of Bahrain and the families of the victims and wishes a swift recovery to the injured," said a statement issued here by Ban's spokesman. "He calls for a full and transparent investigation into this terrorist act."

The bomb attack, which took place outside a girls' school in the village Tuesday, was the deadliest since March 2014, when a blast killed three policemen, reports said. Endite
