Chinese cultural association, German city vow to deepen cultural exchange

A Chinese cultural association named Kolonnade German-Chinese culture promotion association signed a cooperation agreement with local government of southern German city of Kronach on Tuesday, vowing to deepen cultural exchange between two peoples.

According to Zhang Mu, president of Kolonnade German-Chinese culture promotion association, it is one part of the third "Art and Peace" international culture festival, aimed at promoting the cultural exchange between Chinese and western artists, especially to enhance young people's understanding of the diversified art world.

The culture festival lasts from July 21 to July 31 in Germany. It is mainly made up of music masters' class, writers forum and painting exhibition.

The mayor of Kronach Wolfgang Beiergroesslein said that Kronach is a very beautiful and medieval city and it looks forward to welcoming and cooperating with Chinese friends. Endit
