DPRK defeats Thailand at int' l women's volleyball tournament in Vietnam

The Democratic People' s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Tuesday beat Thailand Under-23 team 3-0 at the 2015 International Women's Volleyball Tournament - VTV Cup in Vietnam' s southern Bac Lieu province.

The DPRK found it easy to trounce Thailand in the first set with the score of 25-16, but had to frequently vie for a single point to win the following two sets with the same score of 28-26.

On Wednesday, the DPRK will compete with Vietnam, Thailand with the Chinese club of Nanjing University, and the Philippines with the Chinese club of Liaoning.

The tournament, lasting from July 25 to August 1, hosts six teams from China, the DPRK, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Endi
