Indonesian president meets British PM

Indonesian President Joko Widodo met with British Prime Minister David Cameron here on Monday.

Cameron said Britain is ready to help Indonesia to build massive infrastructure projects and to combat terrorism.

Widodo asked Britain to boost its investment in Indonesia and reduce import tariffs for products from Indonesia, such as woods products, clothes, coffee and fishery products.

Indonesia is to kick off free trade negotiations with European countries in September in Bali this year. Endi
