Xinhua, July 25, 2015 Adjust font size:

Singaporean Foreign Minister K Shanmugam will visit India next week to address a corporate symposium, sources said Saturday.

"Shanmugam will go to the southern Indian city of Chennai to address the Singapore Symposium 2015 as part of the Southeast Asian nation's 50th Independence Day anniversary celebrations," the sources said.

Former Indian Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran will chair the event that will also include an interactive session with the Singaporean minister, they added.

The first two such events were held in the Indian capital in 2009 and 2012, and this is the third one. Endi
