Tokyo shares open lower tracing U.S. poor performance

Tokyo shares opened slightly lower on Friday tracing poor overnight performances in U.S. market.

At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 86.55 points, or 0.42 percent, from Thursday to 20,597.40.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 4.45 points, or 0.27 percent, to 1, 660.43. Endi
