Myanmar to host Olympic women's football qualifiers

Myanmar will host the second stage of Asian Zone qualifiers for the 2016 Olympic Games women's football tournament in Mandalay, the second largest city of the country, from Sept. 14 to 22 this year, according to Myanmar Football Federation Thursday.

Thailand, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and Jordan will compete in this stage.

Myanmar football team will meet Jordan on Sept.14, Thailand on Sept.16, Vietnam on Sept.18 and Chinese Taipei on Sept. 22.

Top team in this stage will face Japan, South Korea, DPR Korea, China and Australia in the third stage for a chance to reach the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Myanmar hosted the first stage in Mandalay.

Myanmar team plans to train abroad before the qualifiers. Endi
