China stocks close higher Thursday

Chinese shares continued its rally on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index surging 2.43 percent to close at 4,123.92 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component Index gained 2.52 percent to close at 13,754.53 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, climbed 2.44 percent to end at 2,967.95 points. Endit
