Sole Vietnamese to attend Athletics World Championships

Nguyen Thi Huyen will be Vietnam's sole representative to compete at the Athletics World Championships slated for August 22-28 in Beijing, local newspaper Vietnam News reported Wednesday.

Huyen, Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, will compete in the women's 400m and the 400m hurdle.

Huyen is the second Vietnamese runner to attend the world tournament. The first, Truong Thanh Hang, competed in the women's 800m in 2011. Endit
