FIFA MA refereeing course kicks off in Tajikistan

A five-day FIFA MA refereeing course kicked off at Istiqlol Academy in Almosi village of Hissar district on Monday, Tajikistan's Football Federation (TFF) said Tuesday.

30 referees from all across the country are attending the course supervised by FIFA referee instructor Farkhad Abdullaev from Uzbekistan and Ahmed Khalidi Supian FIFA fitness instructor from Malaysia.

"The aim of the course is to update the participants' knowledge and tried to deliver the latest guidelines and teaching materials from FIFA. The same instructions and guidelines taught to referees officiating in the FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014 will be taught to the Tajik referees," Abdullaev said.

He said that his colleague Khalidi will inform the paricipants about the latest innovations on referees physical training -- how they should prepare for the games, they have to rest and what they have to eat and etc..

The course which comprises of theory and practical sessions will conclude on Friday. Endi
