LME base metals drop mostly on Monday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower mostly on Monday, as the rising expectation on the U.S. rate hike.
The U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for all urban consumers hiked 0.3 percent in June on a seasonally adjusted basis, data from the U.S. Labor Department showed. It rose for five consecutive months, which improve the market's expectation on the U.S. rate hike.
The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 39.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.72 percent, to 5,463 dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 18.5 dollars, or 1.09 percent, to 1,682.5 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price lost 21 dollars, or 1.14 percent, to 1,820 dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 19 dollars, or 0.92 percent, to 2,047 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 175 dollars, or 1.52 percent, to 11,662.5 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price lost 12.5 dollars, or 0.08 percent, to 15,700 dollars a tonne. Endit
