FIFA to elect new president in early 2016

The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) on Monday said in Twitter that the extraordinary elective FIFA Congress is scheduled on February 26, 2016 in Zurich to elect FIFA' s new president.

The decision came after FIFA' s executive committee Monday held extraordinary meetings to decide the presidential election date and discuss the organizational reforms.

Sepp Blatter, who led the FIFA office since 1998, will continue to carry out his functions until the new president to be elected. Endi
