British FTSE 100 loses 0.31 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday decreased by 0.31 percent, or 21.37 points, to 6,775.08 points.

EasyJet's share price increased by 1.80 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. International Consolidated Airlines Group SA, TUI AG Reg Shs, Sports Direct International and Hikma Pharmaceuticals rose by 1.61 percent, 1.47 percent, 1.43 percent and 1.29 percent respectively.

Royal Mail led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.51 percent, followed by Randgold Resources Ltd. (1.57 percent), Fresnillo (1.57 percent), Anglo American (1.45 percent) and Royal Dutch Shell 'B' (1.40 percent). Endit
