LME base metals drop mostly on Friday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower mostly on Friday, as U.S. dollar index rose sequentially.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 43.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.78 percent, to 5,502.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 14 U.S. dollars, or 0.82 percent, to 1,701 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 6 U.S. dollars, or 0.33 percent, to 1,841 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 3 U.S. dollars, or 0.14 percent, to 2,066 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 45 U.S. dollars, or 0.39 percent, to 11,487.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 837.5 U.S. dollars, or 5.63 percent, to 15,712.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
