Five killed in vehicle fire in Johannesburg

Xinhua, July 17, 2015 Adjust font size:

Five people were killed in Johannesburg when a vehicle caught alight early Friday, authorities said.

It is understood the driver lost control of the vehicle, said ER24, a privade emergency service.

When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene they found the vehicle on its side lying in a bush, ER24 said.

One person was found close to the completely burnt out car and four were found in the vehicle.

"Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could be done for them. All of them were sadly declared dead," said the service.

The exact cause of the incident was unknown, however authorities were on scene for further investigations. Endi
