Croatia to receive 550 refugees, asylum seekers

Xinhua, July 17, 2015 Adjust font size:

Croatian government decided on Thursday that Croatia would receive and accommodate 550 refugees and asylum seekers, a reaction to a plea of the European Union in early July.

EU's plan included relocation of 40,000 asylum seekers coming from outside EU and resettlement of additional 20,000 refugees coming from outside Europe.
