Real Madrid most valuable sporting club in world for 4th consecutive year

Real Madrid is the most valuable sporting club in the world according to Forbes Magazine.

The Magazine published its rankings of the most valuable sporting institutions on Wednesday with the Spanish football club topping the rankings for the fourth consecutive year.

Forbes estimates Real Madrid to be worth 2,890 million euros (3,263 million US dollars), 33.8 million dollars less than in 2014.

Second and place in the Forbes list are occupied by the American football club, the Dallas Cowboys, and baseball team, the New York Yankees, who are both worth an estimated 2,922 million euros.

Meanwhile Real Madrid's bitter rivals, FC Barcelona have fallen from second to fourth in the list with a value of 2,890 million euros.

That will not be of too much concern to supporters of the Catalan club who last season were able to enjoy seeing how their club got the better of Real Madrid on the field of play winning an historic second treble of Champions League, BBVA Primera Liga and Spain's King's Cup. Endi
