Nepal welcomes Iran nuclear deal

The Nepalese government Wednesday welcomed the Nuclear Deal reached between Iran and six major powers .
"The government congratulates the parties on reaching the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action after the hectic negotiations that lasted for months," the Nepalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement on Wednesday evening.
The ministry stated that the Nepalese government believes the Plan of Action paves the way for peaceful resolution of this issue.
"As a staunch advocate of general and complete disarmament of all weapons of mass destruction, Nepal believes that the agreement will be instrumental in promoting international peace and security and upholding friendly relations among countries," the statement added.
Iran and six world major powers reached an agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue that will put Iran on the path of sanctions relief but more strict limits on its nuclear program on Tuesday.
According to the deal, sanctions imposed by the United States, the European Union and the United Nations will be lifted in return for Iran accepting long-term cuts to its nuclear program.
The comprehensive deal was hammered out between Iran and the P5+ 1 group, namely United Kingdom, China, France, Russia and the United States plus Germany, after more than two weeks of tough bargaining in Vienna, the capital city of Austria. Endi
