Pakistan wishes more join Afghan peace talks

Pakistan's top foreign adviser Sartaj Aziz said on Monday that more people would join the Afghan peace talks that could give a boost to the process.

The comments came days after representatives of the Afghan government and Taliban attended the first ever direct Pakistan- brokered talks near the capital Islamabad.

The Taliban and Afghan government agreed to hold a second round after the Muslim holy month of Ramazan which ends this week.

The face-to-face talks on July 7 have raised high hopes in Afghanistan to end the years of bloodshed, however, there are concerns that the opponents of peace could try to derail the process. Endi
