Xinhua, July 11, 2015 Adjust font size:

Political advisors on Friday pooled their wisdom to discuss deepening reform of administrative approval system.

Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, presided over the symposium.

According to a statement issued after the meeting, political advisors agreed that positive results have been seen since the authorities began the reform which is aimed at simplifying administration and injecting market vitality.

The advisors suggested the relationship between government and market should be properly dealt with, adding the central government should also correctly delegate powers to lower levels of government.

However, the government should not loosen supervision while streamlining administration, they suggested.

The advisors also called for improving transparency of the administrative approval process. Endi
